Most of them are at least sort of charming and jerkish, and they are very definitely murderous -- the regular vampires are murderous, and then there's a whole subplot about what is basically vampire berserkerism, a level of murderous that makes the other vampires nervous so they have to murder everyone who has it.

Book 2 has the best fancy clothes descriptions because that's the time-traveling one; the others feature clothes that normies would find fancy but probably neither of us do (Suits don't describe well! Stop trying!). It's a bit hipster sometimes.
