What goes up must come down
Sep. 30th, 2007 09:21 pmYesterday was fun. My mother came up, bearing Sopranos and my spiffy hats and the shinier half of my pocket-Goth book collection and baked goods from WB, and there was much shopping and eating of actual good food. I bought wine glasses, so I finally have something moderately classy to drink out of. It was good to see her again. Spent the evening baking cookies/scones with James, and watching movies and drinking cider and listening to weird music (did anyone else know there was a musical of Evil Dead?). Kept screwing up the baking (we had a cookie recipe we were attempting to convert into a scones recipe... it was special), even had to leave halfway through to go buy vanilla extract (this ended up taking about an hour and a half as we ran into Adam and one of his friends on the way back). Pump Up the Volume and Blood and Chocolate are both excellent movies. Got in at about 4h30 am.
Of course, this means that today I got to do all the massive amounts of homework that I hadn't even put the tiniest dent in yesterday, although Logic officially kicked my ass and I have given up on it until I can talk to the professor. Part of the problem might also have been tiredness from having stayed up until stupid in the morning. Also, (insert suite drama and bullshit here). Oh, and if I have to read one more sappy love poem for Bastien's class I will scream. All I really want to do is watch The Sopranos, but I can't really justify taking the time to do this. Suite life, especially this suite, especially having a double, is really not friendly to my occasional anti-social fits.
On the upside, that completes a cycle. Tomorrow could be ANYTHING.
