Apr. 27th, 2008 03:35 pmIt's my 5th anniversary on this LJ. That's a lot of whining!
These past few days have been as such:
Thursday: karate test for yellow belt. This one included sparring and board-breaking. Afterwards went to Friday's with some people for celebratory steak. Rather pleased with self.
Friday: Jade's wedding, which I missed. Did almost nothing productive all day. Drank white Italians and watched Highlander all evening. Good times.
Saturday: Left for work at 7h30 am; got back in at 2h30 am. Some private school centennial thing in the Berkshires, meaning 4 hours of travel time (we get paid for 2 of them, at least). Didn't get to bartend as school reduced the number of bars at the last minute, but still get paid bartending wage. Sixteen and a half hours at bartending wage for waitstaff work totally worth sore feet.
Today, and the next ten days: Final paper writing. Ahhhhhhhhhh. Have about 65 pages to write by the 6th. And two exams. I should go do that now.
