Oct. 27th, 2011 09:25 pmSo both my freelance job and my corporate job suddenly needed me to put in an extra five hours each this week, and I cannot procrastinate any of it to the weekend because my mom is coming up tonight, so I have put in twelve hours of work Tuesday, yesterday, and today. Advance notice: it makes working extra less headachy.
I celebrated all the monies I've earned this week by opening up a new checking account with a bank that is not particularly a small local bank, but is not Bank of America and did not need a bailout and is not proposing to slap me with extra fees for using my own debit card because making a profit doing banking things is so haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard now after you've shanked the entire country's economy and nobody has any finances for you to manage any more so you ooooooooooooooonly made $6.2 billion in profits this quarter.
I say this as someone who has been a loyal Bank of America customer since about middle school: Cry me a river, assholes.
Online bank does not do credit yet so I still need to find a credit union so I can get that away from BoA too, but I think I will leave that til later, because I am le tired.
