So for April Fool's Day the suite cut big letters out of paper and taped them to the big angled windows in front of Maywood Hall. The letters read
"PO
TA
TO"
and it was amusing; they're pink and you can see them practically from the UC.

I need to start leaving the suite at reasonable hours when I have class the next day. Last night I left at around 3 am, everyone but Josh had gone to bed, but we were watching Eddie Izzard (who is God) and then were talking about random things like the Index of Forbidden Books and from there we somehow got onto the subject of vampire watermelons, and amused ourselves greatly reading about vampire watermelons and pumpkins on the Internet. (The legend is as such: Gypsies believe that if you leave a watermelon or any kind of pumpkin out for ten days, it will turn into a vampire. Sometimes they will be found to have streaks of blood on them. Vampire pumpkins/melons generally growl and shake themselves around, and at night they roll around houses of their own volition with malicious intent towards the human inhabitants of the house. However, they rarely cause any real harm because they do not have teeth, so people are not particularly afraid of them.)

And now I'm really tired. But it was worth it, because *anything* is worth it for vampire watermelons.

*dies of amused*
