Thoughts on color schemes.

You'd never know it, as I wear all black, but I am *addicted* to colors the way I'm addicted to details. And I started thinking today about colors people wear in relation of their physical coloring (hair color, eye color, complexion), and came up with the conclusion that Legolas would not have quite so many fangirls if he was wearing any color other than green.
Some people's coloring has one or two colors that, when worn, just look really really good, and make the person look somewhat different than other colors. For people with dark hair and eyes and skin, it's white. White just looks reeeeeally good against dark coloring. For people with white skin and dark hair and eyes (like, BLACK hair and real dark eyes), it's red. It just jumps out. And for people with pale skin, blond hair, and light (especially blue) eyes, it's green, hands down. And beyond that it gets not quite so obvious, but I have a list of several in my assignment pad, but they're not that clear... and I'm stuck on pale-skinned redheads, if it should be violet or black...anyway....
Legolas happens to be pale, blond, blue-eyed, and wearing green. And everybody loves him. And I think the two are connected, 'cos green looks mad spiffy on people with that color scheme. Especially if they have long hair. (Because long hair is spiffy.)
Erm. Ramble inspired by the fact that Matt was wearing green today, and it just looked different than normal. And really good.
Yeah, so I'm in a bit of an odd mood right now, and feeling happy because it seems I'm right with the hand thing. We once again had five people on a couch at some point this afternoon, and sure enough, someone (Matt or Pat, maybe... don't remember) goes: "Whose hand is this?" So anyway, that made me happy...
