Squee!

Well, my brain has died twelve times over today... I got up at eight, God knows why, I just woke up and once I wake up I can't get back to sleep, and Thalia didn't arrive until nearly one, so that was five-ish of the most nervous spazzing-out hours in a long, long time. Matt showed up at twelve, Moody showed up at twelve fifteen, Chris showed up at twelve thirty, Eddy showed up at twelve thirty as well and then went back to her house to get changed into something outlandish, 'cos the rest of us were All Dressed Up for Thalia's arrival (me in my skirt with the buckles and then more plain black; Moody in plain black and one of the overshirts with embroidery things on the sleeves; Chris in his cloak; Matt in the fishnet shirt and vinyl pants (yay!)), Thalia showed up (in jeans and t-shirt, which for her is dressing out of the ordinary, as she says she has only one pair of jeans) at one, finally! and some social awkwardness, as is to be expected, but such fun... sat around talking for awhile until Eddy showed up again in fishnet shirt, vinyl tank, actual makeup and jewelry, and then one thirty ish Beky came, dressed almost normally. (But still in all black.) Sat and talked... walked around for a bit... went to the graveyard... came back, losing Eddy and Beky on the way, and then sat around on the couch in our usual style (five people on one three-person couch, without shoes) until Thalia had to leave; the remaining four sat around for a little longer. We spent very much of the day trying to get conversations started, with limited success... but ee, I'm so happy, I finally got to meet Thalia... *ubersqueekamikazeglompclinghuggleses* *happy sigh* So I'd generally say today was good, even with my nerves all shattered, 'cos met Thalia got much huggling done. I still want to know what parental type people think when they see five teenagers crammed onto one couch, sitting and leaning on each other, and poking each other the whole time. It must be quite worrying.
