If I get sick, I will be WAY unhappy. I can't afford to get sick until at least November. Too busy.

My mother sliced her face open when I was in the shower this evening. She was trying to detach a switchplate from the wall and it was sort of stuck, and when it came loose it did so rather suddenly and cut her across the bridge of the nose. It's pretty deep and bleeding quite a bit, but we're lucky it wasn't any further to either the left or right or it would have gotten her in the eye and then we'd REALLY be in trouble. But she called Paul and Dr. Starker and they both came by and now the three of them are off to the ER to get her stitched up.

I'm going to finish my tea and hope to calm down enough to get to sleep tonight.
