Aug. 29th, 2006 06:42 pmI've spent almost three hundred dollars on books today.
Primary reaction: "That is nowhere near enough books for three hundred dollars!"
Secondary reaction: "I could totally have gotten this many books for less if I didn't need them NOW."
It could have been worse. I did end up buying $150 worth of books off half.com for just under $50. Including the Globalization Reader, which generally runs about a hundred dollars and I got it for thirty. Go me. Hopefully they get here fast.
And the two books I need shipped from home. Aaaaaaargh. It's so aggravating to be told "Go buy this book!" and I'm like "Dude! I already HAVE that book!" except I have to give other people instructions on how to find it and have them ship it to me, because it is in NEW JERSEY.
It is unusually noisy here this afternoon. Except noisy as in like things going 'thunk!' a lot, so I don't really know wtf is going on.
