General life update
Sep. 13th, 2007 11:14 am- I have my ticket for the Nightwish show! There'll be a ridiculous amount of people going; this makes me happy. October 20th just can't come fast enough. Squee.
- Liz and I have finally gotten started on pirating out our room, although pretty much all we've done so far is pick a name and stick a sign on the door. Ours is the good ship "Vagina Dentata", a name coined after a night of angry girl rum-drinking.
- I have finished the Transmetropolitan series! Which I suppose means I'd better start Watchmen before somebody beats me with it. But oh man, the awesomeness of Transmet cannot be described accurately. Just go read it.
- I have joined the karate club... there will be more thoughts on this later when I find out quite what I've gotten myself into. At the moment, the predominant thought is "Damn, there are way too many people here that I know." But that's okay.
- "Hex" is the best TV show ever. Honestly, what's better than a punkygoth lesbian ghost who eats constantly and invades all the straight girls' dreams?
Um, life has its ups and downs as usual, most of it's going pretty well. I feel like I need to write more but am entirely uninspired at the moment. I could also use some tea.
If I were smart, I'd go to lunch now, and then do my Philosophy homework so I don't have to do it later.
