Sep. 21st, 2008 06:11 pmIn my whinings, I have lied to you all. Well, exaggerated, really.
I have timed it, and when the church bells ring, they actually only ring for seven-minute stretches, not ten or fifteen.
On the other hand, seven minutes is still way too long to listen to church bells, especially since they usually ring every hour, from two minutes past until nine minutes past. Starting at 10:02 most weekday mornings; I haven't tried to see if weekends are consistent or not yet. The 6-pm-and-something bells just ended; I hope this is the last set of the day, but I can't remember.
More data will be forthcoming, probably.
