Oct. 22nd, 2011 11:43 pmI saw Noam Chomsky speak at OccupyBoston tonight!
Sadly, I cannot tell you that much of what he said, because OB used its regular microphone system (they do have a microphone system) instead of People's Mic-ing the whole thing (which would have taken twice as long but I think it would have been better anyway), and their regular mic system could not quite handle (a) Noam Chomsky's terrible, mumbling lack of public speaking skillz, (b) sirens and alarms going by every thirty seconds, and (c) like a thousand freaking people packed into Dewey Square Park. Seriously, it was ridiculously full. We all had to sit down in order for half of us to sort of hear something.
It was still totally awesome though, just because it was.
