So I finally finished Half-Blood Prince. It was both very very good and very very bad. The soap-opera stuff was good for realism but bad for interest; if I wanted to hear it I'd go talk to real people instead of reading. The stuff about Voldemort's past I was absolutely fascinated by. I was annoyed that who died was obvious by about page two, but it was done magnificently. I was uber confused as to which incredibly obvious character would be the Prince until the end, which was good.

I feel incredibly lucky that I ended up in the age demographic that is always within a year or so of the age of the characters. Started off a little younger; now am one year older. Go me.
