Nothing of very great importance is going on! This is kind of fun.
Dropped American lit so I can take Victorian lit later; am taking Mythopoetics instead. This means every Tuesday afternoon is going to feature four and a half solid hours of The Bastinator. This might be too much.
We had a party on Friday, like an actual party, not just twice as many people showing up as we'd expected to do whatever low-key thing we were planning on doing. Many awesome people showed up, including many awesome people that do not habitually visit the suite, and there was much rejoicing and molesting of the Dylan.
Sunday we poked around the Ocho, which was fun and exciting and I am super happy to be apartmenting next year like real people. Then Ally brought her Wii over and we played with it and Liz discovered the wonderful that is gin and tonic until she turned into a pterodactyl, because even though it was Sunday it was still a weekend night because we had no class yesterday (school class, not the sort of class like "We're Americans and we have no class!").
This means yesterday I pretty much got to sit on my arse and read Terry Pratchett all day and cuddle my shiny new flesh-eating bacterium (Leah! Syphilis has new best friend! They're so cute together!) until 7th Sea, in which Keen and Dylan dropped out, which was sad, and Tony killed and became God, which was badass.
And that is seriously the most exciting thing that's happened in a week, which is a nice change of pace from DRAMA DRAMA BULLSHIT DRAMA DRAMA.
My addiction to planning theme parties is resurfacing. Methinks bartending school was bad for it. I need to find time to watch El Mariachi and Desperado at some point this week, so we can have a Once Upon a Time in Mexico margarita night this weekend, and it'd probably have to be Friday, since a bunch of the others have another party to go to on Saturday. Oh, I am just OH SO BUSY. :)
But now, to class.
