1. I don't suppose any of you know anyone who desperately needs to get rid of either a queen-sized mattress or a set of bed risers by Sunday? This moving thing is expensive enough without buying them new.
2. Twelve-hour work day. Oddly satisfying. Still can't believe the boring job pays $3/hr more than the job where I feel like I'm doing work. But am not complaining.
3. Am reading "The Blue Fairy Book." Totally forgot how dumb some fairy tales are; am so used to reading specially awesome anthologies like "Tatterhood." Also totally forgot how gory some of them are, being more familiar with Disney stories that keep the dumb but get rid of the random wanton violence.
4. Need some time to sit down and bang out this epic poem for Liz that's been tugging at my brain (umm, can anyone think of a word that rhymes with "pneu"?). Maybe tomorrow afternoon. Or maybe tomorrow afternoon I will merely dance around listening to Nightwish, because there will be no one around it would bother.
5. Nightwish rocks.

Is a French word meaning "tires." The vowel sound at the end is made about the same as making a long "ee" sound, but with the lips rounded. Sounds sort of like a short "u", but Frenchier.

"p'nuh" is probably the closest phonetic spelling we're going to get. The sound doesn't really exist in English, which is why I'm going to have a bitch of a time using it in a rhyming poem. >.>

Yeah, it's the French word for tires... my roommate and I decided it would make a good name for a magical land to write an epic adventure poem about.

I like the new singer; I think the biggest problem with their last album was that Tuomas was rather too obviously still being bitter and emo about Tarja and this had... um... negative effects on his creativity. I think if he writes her better freaking songs, Annette will prove pretty awesome.
