A N S W E R - T R U T H F U L L Y

1. Do you like anyone?: For the denotative meaning of the word "like"... yes, I am happy to say that at this point in my life I actually like lots of people. For the connotative meaning of "to fancy someone" which decent people who aren't survey-writers generally put in some sort of context first... I don't wanna talk about it.
2. Do they know it? ...Yeah.
3. Simple or complicated? Um... either complicated, or I overthink things.

IN - T H E - L A S T - M O N T H - H A V E - Y O U

4. Had sex: No.
5. Bought something: Lots of stuff... lots of food... senior week and this moving business were both very expensive.
6. Gotten sick?: Ahaha. Yes. Medication problems.
7. Been hugged?: Lots!
8. Felt stupid?: Yeah... probably fairly often... especially when being introduced to tai chi sparring. Sometimes I think I'm really only doing karate because I believe it's good for me to stick with something I'm really bad at.
9. Talked to an ex: I never talk to my exes.
10. Missed someone: Lots of someones. Every time I go home I get more and more impatient to get my ass back to Worcester.
11. Failed a test: Not failed... done not-so-hot on, though. >.>
13. Danced: I don't remember?
14. Gotten your hair cut?: NO. I get my hair cut as rarely as my mama lets me get away with. Seriously.
15. Lied: I don't like to lie, I just occasionally decide not to say things if they make me look bad. Much like everybody else.

U N I Q U E

16. Nervous habits?: Babbling, being really quiet, chewing my lips, scraping the polish off my nails, smiling and nodding, keeping my arms really close, biting my fingers... I have lots.
17. Are you double jointed?: No
18. Can you roll your tongue?: Yes
19. Can you raise one eyebrow?: Yes. Drew Agliata taught me in fifth grade, during play rehearsal.
20. Can you cross your eyes?: ...Some people can't?
21. Do you make your bed daily?: Yes. Usually. That way, people can sit on it without it being weird.
22. Do you think you are unique?: Everybody is unique... it's not that special.

H A V E - Y O U - E V E R'S

23. Said "I Love you": A lot. I subscribe to the Harry Potter rather than the Disney school of belief in the power of love.
24. Given money to a homeless person: Yeah... not a lot, though.
25. Smoked?: Ew, no.
26. Waited all night for a phone call?: My idea of "waiting all night for a phone call" is to put the phone next to my bed (which I do anyway) and go to sleep, and assume if it rings it'll wake me up.
27. Snuck out?: No. I have left and forgotten to tell anybody, though.
28. Sat and looked at the stars?: Yep. Although generally lying flat out and looking at the stars is better.

M A N N E R S

29. Do you swear/curse?: I'm a college student from fuckin' Jersey...
30. Do you ever spit?: No.
31. You cook your own food?: Yes... especially now that I HAS A KITCHEN!
32. You do your own chores?: Uh... usually.
33. You like beef jerky?: I think I'd be disowned by my friends if I did not like beef jerky. However, I do not love beef jerky.
35. You're happy with your life?: Most of it... I've got one or two things bothering me (*sets ISS office and French and English departments on fire*), but I have good friends, good family, two jobs, an apartment with a kitchen and a real person bed, a city full of good restaurants, the Internet, a personal library of over 525 books, and a plush Cthulhu. And I'm not in a depressive episode any more.
36. You own a dog?: No... I have a little brother, though...
37. You spend your money wisely?: I used to. Then I moved into a suite with a bunch of steak-munching drunks. :P
38. Do you like to swim?: Yes, although I like hot tubs better.
39. When you get bored do you call a friend: AIM, usually.

D O - Y O U - P R E F E R'S

41. Flowers or angels?: What the fuck kind of question is that?
42. Gray or black?: Blackkkkkkk. Is so pretty.
43. Color or black and white photos?: Black and white photos are awesome.
44. Lust or love?: If you don't know my answer to this one, you don't know me well enough to be reading my LiveJournal. Go away, creep.
45. Sunrise or sunset?: Sunset. If the sun's just rising, I shouldn't be out of bed yet.
46. M&Ms or Skittles?: Skittles. Is more fun to say. Skittles, skittles, skittles.
48. Staying up late or waking up early?: It depends... often I seem to go for "spending the maximum amount of time in bed"
49. Being hot or cold?: Am trying to think of clever joke involving "hot" as in "sexy" and "cold" as in "unfriendly and nonresponsive to sexual advances" but cannot come up with something non-clunky-and-awkward. Bleh.
50. Winter or Fall?: Ew, falling light levels... *hiberates* Although fall has Halloween and my birthday, so... fall. Yes.
51. Left or right?: Left?
53. Sunshine or rain?: Only real nice heavy rain. Thunderstorms and things. Sunshine is obviously preferable over gross gray miserable raininess; is better for brain.

more have you evers;;

Sleep in a bed of the opposite sex?: Beds have genders? You mean like... have I slept in a king bed as well as a queen? I think so. I have also slept in beds with people of the opposite gender, if that's what you were trying to ask.
Hooked up in the woods?: Yes, actually. >.>
Drank a bottle of alcohol by yourself?: Not all at once...
Hooked up in the shower?: No.
Been Dumped?: Technically. Didn't make much difference; I was still the one that had to decide to actually stop putting up with the other one's shit.
Stolen money from a friend?: No.
Slept naked?: No. I can't sleep if I'm not dressed.
Been in a fist fight?: Nope. I'd probably come off worst.
Snuck out of your house?: Didn't we already ask this question?
Had a crush on a teacher?: No.
Seen someone die?: No.
Been on an airplane?: Yes.
Slept all day?: Pretty close...
Missed someone so much it hurt?: You have no idea.
Fallen asleep during school?: Not quite... come pretty close a couple of times, though.
Been lonely?: Who hasn't?
Cheated in a game?: Occasionally.
Been to the ER?: Not since I was little.
Been in a car accident?: No... not yet, anyway...
Had detention?: No... I got one once, but I managed to get out of it.
Missed your first love?: I miss him now.
Cried yourself to sleep?: ...An embarrassing number of times, really.
Sung in the shower?: Yeah... although usually I talk to myself instead... I'm strange.
Kissed a complete stranger?: No.
Laughed so hard you cried?: Yes.
Cheated on a bf/gf?: Nope... you can't cheat on a friend with benefits... especially if your main benefit is that his mother makes you dinner every Friday... he was obviously upset though, 'cos he kept telling me that of course he wasn't upset, since he had no right to be upset since he'd broken up with me the previous month. I put up with way too much shit in high school.
Regretted hurting someone?: Yep.
Regretted loving someone?: Yes... I think I would have been better off just resigning myself to not having a social life in high school. With friends like that... >.<
Been SUPER happy?: Yes, although with me this usually means that something's wrong, "something" being my brain, as usual.

In other news...the T&G article on Napier's death has me much more upset than I had previously been. Death is always scary, and a death in my department at my school is close enough to home to be unsettling, and I feel really bad for my friends who actually knew him and are affected by his death on a personal level. But the medical malpractice stuff--especially involving mental health--especially involving suicide risk--really, really scares me. The first few times I read the article my immediate response was skepticism, probably just because I really don't want to admit the possibility of hospitals really being that negligent. If anything ever happens to me, or I do anything to myself, I want to believe that the hospital system is there to help me and make me better. If I have to entrust anyone else to the care of a hospital, I want to believe that the hospital is going to actually take care of them. I want to believe that if someone needs medical help, the medical facilities will bloody fucking provide it. That's what hospitals are FOR. And if they can't save someone, then they can't. But if they can, I want to believe they will.

Also, if anything ever happens to me or I do anything to myself in Worcester... don't send me to St. V's.
