Two Thanksgivings = a holy crap LOT of food.
Last football game I will ever be required to go to today. We won, which was nice. Turned in music and flip folders. Will miss some things, such as Carl's bizarrely anachronistic form of yelling stuff at the players. Will not miss other things. At all.
Going to finish my movie now.

Oct. 29th, 2005 07:34 amYesterday was the first time I actually attempted to pay attention to anything happening in a football game besides "OMG it's a bunch of guys in tight pants jumping each other and sitting on each other's heads! How manly! -snerk-" in a really long time. This is only because it was ten o'clock already when we went into overtime, which was just agonizing, as it was horribly cold and I need to be somewhere this morning and because sitting in front of Joe is almost as bad as sitting in front of Chip H. However I can't actually make head nor tail of football so was continually asking Eli "OMG you've got to be fucking kidding me is it OVER yet?" and trying not to laugh at him 'cos it seems like all I do in Show Band these days is laugh at freshmen. We ended up losing by one point which annoyed a lot of people but I was just glad it didn't go on longer.
Got to actually talk to my other favorite freshman this week, and so: SCOTT IS AWESOME. That is all.
Need to do ironing before I leave. Bye.

Oct. 20th, 2005 10:25 pmI don't know how I can't be horribly behind on HW with the little amount of time I've had to do any, so I'm probably missing something. I hate that feeling.
In other news, Chip Andrews had Spamalot coconuts in Show Band rehearsal today and this made me REALLY HAPPY.
There's other stuff too, but who cares.

Oct. 19th, 2005 09:33 pmRandomly hit with poetry-writing muse. Do not have time for this as I refuse to write unrhymed poetry, and rhymed poetry takes much longer because rhyming without sounding dippy is WORK. Which is precisely why it's the only kind I'll write, but it means I need actual spare time to do it well which I don't have right now.
I have to write an FRQ tonight and the Show Band script (with Leah) by Friday. And I want my poem and short story back from the old computer which is back but not hooked up yet. Plus a zillion college essays, of course.
This might be too much writing even for me.
