I am in a rare good mood for a weekday. It's amazing what not having work can do. Managed to finish all homework due tomorrow in study hall; Beky came over this afternoon and I got to finish all the homework so far assigned that's due Friday, and study for my English test tomorrow. This is exceeding rare.
I managed to get everything, absolutely everything necessary, done by five, which meant I got to curl up on the couch at my dad's house and read for a while. Between being productive, relaxing, and Packy's suggestion that if I learn how to fly then I will be Happy, I am in much better spirits than I usually am on weekdays. I am glad for this temporary relief from my usual burnout cycle.
Also good because I've a fairly busy weekend and thus will not be able to spend the entirety of it Jacobyhousing. Have an away game "in the freaking Poconos" on Saturday, and am volunteering at STNJ on Sunday, although I cannot remember if it's an evening performance or a matinee. Either way, I feel I should invite people to come along, as have heard it's a very good play (haven't seen it--don't get to watch on opening night; too busy telling people that no, we can't take the champagne glasses), and because I have at least twelve vouchers sitting around that expire at the end of this season, if I'm not mistaken.
So, because I'll be too lazy to contact you all individually: Anyone want to see Pygmalion on Sunday?
Am hoping that I'll be able to not fall back into burnout cycle too quickly. If have much weekend work, will be doubleplusungood. But refuse to spoil good mood by fretting.
