Well, FF.N admin finally got around to deleting PPC:DAC and EVAT. Was wondering when they'd realize they were up.

Ella, 'twas nice writing EVAT with you, but I think it's dead now, 'cos I don't know of anywhere else we could put it. We should ask P@L to host our PPC spinoff, though.

Well, got next to no work done this weekend. That's not a good thing.

Today was ubermuch fun. [/sarcasm] Went up to Connecticut to see my grandfather, as this is probably the last time I will see him alive. It's a good thing we came on one of his good days, though. He was awake and talking and cracking jokes, although he looked frighteningly older than he was last time I saw him, which was maybe six months ago. Kind of sad that he perked up the most when Dad mentioned alcohol. I am never going to drink. (Or work in a copper factory, for that matter.) Then went out to lunch with grandmother and aunt, neither of whom can walk. Also very depressing. My family is a bloody wreck. Then went to Baklik's (aunt, uncle, two cousins) and spent an hour there. Avoided relatives and spent most of time playing cousin's guitar. Or at least, attempting too. Nails on left hand are too long to play properly, so was a bit flat-fingered and that makes it difficult. Also didn't have a pick, but nails on right hand long enough to take care of that. But 'twas fun. *whines* I want a guitar!

Show band starts tomorrow, which means next (this?) week is the last full week of summer vacation before school starts. I have done none of my school shopping, and none of the essays/research papers/general written assignments due on the day back. What kind of stupid school system has it so that I can't comfortably get all my work done in the full latter half of my summer vacation?

I mean, if I'd worked the whole time, I would have gotten more done. But all I want is time with my friends before they go off to college. Is that so bloody fucking unreasonable? And now most of them have; I can really buckle down and work now. But have show band and shopping to do, so will be really squished.

Considering how much high school completely and utterly SUCKS, can't they give us a fucking break from it over the summer?

I'm going to bed now, so that I can get up fucking early enough that I can work for more than three hours before going to show band, because apparently working three hours a day isnt' enough to get everything done. And then in the evening I will either continue working or kill someone.
