Blahhh I have a paper due Friday and I canNOT focus on it.

And I get off for Spring Break on Friday and I do not yet know how I am getting home, as Plan A is not getting back to me and Plan B is Maybe, We Shall Ask Jon's Mother and Plan C is Oh gods not a bus again so soon that's ridiculous.

7th Sea one-shot yesterday. Major milestone in my life: first time I've gotten dragged into a roleplay game and have (a) enjoyed myself and (b) done anything whatsoever (fairly certain those two are connected). Feeling marginally less apprehensive about Duk's 7th Sea campaign now.

After one-shot and dinner went back to the nerd suite and watched "Pippin" and "October Sky" and drank tea and talked about the care and keeping of carpets made out of tiny little people. Whee.

I started a new story today. I wonder if I'll ever finish it. And I wrote another page or two (single-spaced) of my modern old-fashioned vampire hunting story. And I want to go home and work on Re-Vamping with Kat. And this is why I can't focus on my bloody paper on NAFTA. (NAFTA=evil. Seriously. It eats babies.)

I might have to go to bed now because I have been having trouble getting up for Global and I cannot cannot cannot skip my shower again tomorrow morning.

Spring Break I need to read more Robin McKinley. And go through the books in the basement. And see which of my books Tim has. And find my Borrowers series because those books were cute.

I know... I've just been an apprehensive newbie to roleplaying for four years; old habits die hard. I'm not really worried, just as worried as I usually am about like everything. >.> Reading the Vodacce book is getting me all excited about it, though.
