So yesterday we had a suite meeting, and finally decided to write down and post a bunch of "suite rules," which are basically Things Your Mother Should Have Taught You In Kindergarten And We're Writing Down Because It's So Not Our Job To Tell You This That We Have Serious Trouble Doing So.

Woke up this morning and realized that some of our rules for entertaining--namely the financial ones--are expressly based off the assumption that when we throw parties, all of our guests will show up empty-handed. Because except for Ally, everybody does.

This means two things. One, when we point out the lovely little list posted on the door, we will have to also mention that this is the assumption and that if you do bring stuff we can be a little nicer to you. Two, either our organization is very bad, or the people we know are ridiculously uncivilized, or perhaps a bit of both.

At any rate, I feel like we're starting the semester off on the right note by making some constructive effort to run our own housespace, so overall I'm fairly pleased.

Hey, I'll chip in anytime you guys want, just let me know. I just don't generally show up at the suite with the assumption that you guys are going to party. Therefore I wouldn't know when to bring something. Seriously, just let me know when you guys are buying stuffs and I'll chip in.

We'll try to be better about actually planning things and inviting people from now on... we tended not to bother, since when we made plans they had such a tendency to get interrupted.

We shall do something fun soon. >.> Otherwise I shall be seriously displeased.
